Shinjiro leaned in close, pushing the curtain of Ran Fan's hair aside. He looked solemnly into her eyes for many long minutes. When she realized how long she had been looking directly into his eyes, she felt her chest tighten, feel like she had to look down to readjust her privacy around her for protection. He just waited there, patiently watching until she got up the nerve to look into his eyes again. Then the whole process would start over again, and again, and again.

By the fifth time, she barely needed to glance away. Maybe he noticed this. He touched his fingers gently to her cheek, the crinkle around his eyes as he sort-of-smiled at her telling her things that could not be put into words.

Ling was now king of the Gold Sector of Level 5 of the might SS Thor Spaceship. His sector was known for its clean floors and everyone who lived there smiled friendly smiles at each other and helped their neighbors out. Ling had a fancy chair to sit in but he did not like sitting around. He liked to walk around in his new kingdom and make sure the people were happy, and that they did not lack anything. Since it was just a sector of the spaceship that Ling ruled, he had plenty of time for other things, such as studying and making friends. He was a very happy man with many people who loved him.

Also he decided to build an amusement park. It had many rollercoasters and waterslides. He let Edward, Alphonse, Shinjiro, and Ran Fan go on all of the rides for free. Ran Fan played a game at the park to throw a ball into a small dish of water. She won a goldfish, and the goldfish did not die ever.

The goldfish's name was Mango.

Ran Fan woke up all alone on a chilly Monday morning on the SS Thor. She had not slept well the night before and since she had had a busy weekend, her room was very very messy.
