I am now a third-year!
...holy shit.
in other news, I got Urinetown, so I am SO FUCKING EXCITED to stage manage for a professional director. I was so excited, it was my main distraction from writing my final paper. I mean, I have to wait like six months before it really happens and it is killllllliiinnnnnggg mmmmeeeeeee. I'm more excited for Urinetown than I am to work at Second City next week.
I was thinking about it, and I realized that all of the other student positions on that show are assistants: assistant director, assistant scenic designer, etc. but I am assistant to no one. in fact, once the show goes into tech, Jonathan Berry answers to ME. that's simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying.
omg can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait omg omg omg omg omg SO EXCITEDDDDDDDDD
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
(I took a caffeine pill a few hours ago to motivate me to finish the rest of my paper so now that I'm done I am freaking LOSING IT)
AND I MOVE INTO MY NEW APARTMENT IN TWO DAYS
AND I START MY INTERNSHIP NEXT WEEK
AND I HAD A PHONE INTERVIEW WITH COURT THEATRE'S STAGE MANAGER
AND SUMMER IS HEEERRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE
AND MY NECK'S NOT BROKEN
AND I'M GOING TO LOLLAPALOOZA
AND MY BIRTHDAY IS ON SUNDAY
AND MY PAPER IS DONE
