The Daily Grind

Dec 10, 2007 15:43

I like going to the local hip independent coffee shop, The Daily Grind, in Marshfield because it reminds me of all the hip independent coffee shops on the North Side of Chicago that I never have the time or money to visit. In addition, it's warm in there, unlike my house. They make tasty drinks. And the owner guy is kind of sort of a cutie, in that nerdy-I-have-a-non-threatening-beard-and-unassuming-green-t-shirt way.

But he's not for me, in that I'm-obviously-still-living-full-time-in-Marshfield-and-thus-probably-married-or-living-in-a-basement-somewhere kind of way.

Someone posted on the UChicago facebook Network page (which hasn't been updated since like, fucking OCTOBER): "Why do people at the UofC sigh so much?"

*SIGH*
