Not news anymore. I'm booked for NYC! :D
Will be there for 2 weeks, spending my 30th birthday there, and stopping over in Taipei on the way back. Life's rather good in this sense. Can't wait to experienc what NYC is all about, and to check out all the local designers. Really.cannot.wait! :DDDDDD Have also planned to have a nice birthday dinner at Serendipity3. Don't ask me why Serendipity3, but the idea was stuck in my head for years so I thought, just do it! The movie is nice too so, I might have been influenced by the movie. Talking about movies, I'm going to check out all the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York filming sites. Especially Central Park where Kevin and the pigeon lady met. We found a cozy room on Airbnb somewhere in Upper East Side at only $100 per night and are hoping to receive a confirmation of our stay soon. Gonna splurge on all the nice food, bars, cafes, shopping, etc.
Other than above, haven't planned much. We still have 4 months to go. But my usual magic questions: What should I do? What should I not miss? I've got all the usual touristy stuff in. If there are nice, cozy, quirky, places in NYC you think I will like, tell me!
We are still unsure about what to do in Taipei yet. Most likely trying to get over the jet lag and eat a lot!
