The colleagues and I decided to explore a new place for lunch and promptly popped into
疯狂世界 Crazy World Cafe. I have been very curious about this place since I first saw the space being renovated while walking to the MRT station from work. They've been open for a couple of months since late last year. When colleagues were asking where can we check out this time, I suggested Crazy World Cafe pronto!
It's a small and pretty cozy place, an art.music.design kind of cafe. At one corner of the cafe, there are local design products for sale. They serve all day breakfast, which we were tempted to order but ended up ordering from their lunch set menu instead. We had the fish & chips ($14.50), mushroom carbonara ($14.50) and curry chicken ($10.50). I really like the first and chips, I think I'll order that for myself next time I'm there, tried the carbonara and much pefer Aglio Oglio's. My curry chicken was good too, I had it with prata and wasn't impress with the prata. The set is surprisingly filling. I'm still feeling like I am full of curry. The service is tops and prices are all net! No service and taxes.
There are evenings when they have live music performances, they are chargeable at $12 per ticket.
No pics of the food but I will go back again to check out the rest of the menu, especially their cheesecake and brownie. Gonna bring the guys there, got to plan for an evening meal together.
