Am in touch with a friend (German) of an aquaintance (French) who is in Singapore and quite desperately needs a job here, I left her a postscript about the rain here and her reply set me off laughing! It sounds mild but knowing me, you know how I manage to exaggerate things.
p.s. I have to admit that I'm slightly worried about all that water coming down. It's July not November.
Halfway into The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Makes me want to go to Guernsey. I am quite willing to forgo Romania, I may have to forgo Romania if circumstances change. Not going to think too far ahead until I have status quo in comprehension. Now, let me see how to get myself to Guernsey if I were to make a last minute trip out. I'm still deliberating between Guernsey and Granada (Nellie is there and I can see the Alhambra!) Colleagues said I am a DISGUSTING (capital letters et al) traveller at my age. I am not yet 30.
But I wish I could see more. I am not an easy person to appease. I hope you realised it earlier.
Glad the week is over. Need to shop for my reward. Off to ION for my bank appointment and ended up getting sugered gummies for the father and some biscuits for stock up. Hopped over to Balenciaga for I have a sudden interest to be in possession of erm... a bag. Had my eyes on the Day but looks like of big and I don't like how the top slouches. Difficult to reach for stuff, pain in the ass to zip and unzip the top. Probably might end up with a City if I do get one, it's a good size and I like that it has a strap. The rest are too EW, I don't like EW bags.
Can kind souls educate me on the hardware? Is it a matter of your liking or some... I dunno, trend thing? I'd like something grey with GGH on a City. The colours they have in boutique, I don't like.
Shabu-ed dinner with bud. Have a fish bone stuck in my throat now. If it doesn't go by next week, I will decide whether to see a doctor. I know what you are thinking. Shoot me.

ETA: I want to buy Rape of Europa DVD but it is in a different region format arrrghhhhh..... And I want to buy all the books related and all books on WWII. It is too sad but I need to read sad things. Not because I want to remind myself that I am actually in a better situation but I am just a sad person to begin with.
