I also have to do my "national service" at work. Since the country is so small, our defence ministry has to "uphold" relationships with other major countries/ cities in the world for exchange, resources etc. So they host tons of overseas visiting military men, all the time. Yours truly deals with them and some are important enough to not reject them or it really depends on my mood sometimes... So once, those Germans came, introduced myself, told them my name.

German 1: Ooohhh, French name.
Me: Ja!
German 2: Ooohhh, you speak German!
Me: Err... No. I only know guten tag, guten morgan, and Neuschwanstein.
German 2: You know Neuschwanstein!
Me: Yes! That's where Hitler hid all the art he absconded from Europe! It's a beautiful place though, baeutiful view. And ... yada yada...
Sg soldier: *Ahem*
Me: *Opps..* OK, let's walk that way and I will show you something...
