I received my first
Vintage Classics Twins last month and I am addicted!
Vintage Satire: A set of Swift's Gulliver's Travel and Houellebecq's Atomised.
I laid my hands on the last 3 sets of Vintage Classics Twins in Times Bookshop at Anchorpoint and scooted off to the cashier without any hesitation!
Vintage Youth: Dicken's Oliver Twist and Welsh's Trainspotting
Vintage Fantasy: Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Murakami's The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
Vintage Love: Eliot's Middlemarch and Byatt's Possession
There are 10 sets in this collection and I am still lacking Crime, Fear, Lies, Lust, Monster and Sin.
So, I'm going to do some shameless plugging now. The parents, the aunt, the cousins, the friends, a special message. I don't need a neat birthday present, a set of Vintage Classics Twins that I don't own will make my day. :P 2 books for the price of 1!
Else, if you seen this anywhere, drop me a sign so I can fly myself down to the bookshop, pronto!
And here is a modest collection of books I bought when I was in London and brought them all back!
Last count, at least 12 unread. I'm stuck at 1599 and am finding quite hard to take myself through it. I am finishing it soon and looking forward to reading something light like Me and Mr Darcy.
I have to say this. The Book Thief is extremely delightful! Easily the best book I have ever read!
I love books. I can spend my whole fortune on books and buy shelves like those in Q to house them. :)
