My poor computer
My computer had been running very slow lately. So yesterday, Sweetie & I reformatted her. It did help a bit, but not as much as we'd hoped. Come to find out, with XP running, I have 97 meg of free RAM, out of 384. So, we thought we'd look into more memory. Haha, said Beastie (the computer). Turns out the motherboard only has 3 slots for 128 meg of RAM. So Beastie is at capacity as far as memory is concerned. Sigh...She's also 7 years old, which is admittidly ancient as far as computers are concerned. We looked on Tiger Direct, & pieceing together a new computer would cost about $350, which is a bit cheaper than buying a complete system; their cheapest was about $475. Unfortunately, both of these prices are out of our price range at the moment. Alas.
Meanwhile, my aunt & uncle are coming up today for an Easter visit. Should be fun. Hopefully we can go out to dinner. At the very least, we'll have some Bunny Cake. :-)
