Snow!!
Boy, it was snowing like a bastard earlier. Not the "hit & melt" kind, either, but actual stick to everything it lands on snow. Ick! I hate it.
Had an interesting day. We knew we were being released from clinical early today to attend a job fair at the Erie campus. It was fun; I got a ton of good info & such, & a ton of SWAG (Stuff We All Get) :-). Lots of pens & candy. Cool. The bad part was I had to drive from the clinical site, which is in Harborcreek, to the Erie campus of the school. Not a horrible drive, but I was leading another student who didn't know the way, & it was getting slippery even then.
The other kinda bad thing is Sweetie is out of town. He & another guy drove to Pittsburgh, then flew from there to N.C. They're flying back tomorrow night, but in the meantime I have to ask my mom to get here at 5:30 so I can leave & get to clinical in time. But I'll be home at 3:30 or so; then she can escape the demon children. ;-0
They were being demons tonight, too. Rampaging, pissing each other off, the baby was toddling all over; it was fun. They're all now safely asleep. Baby was in such a bad way I had to just put him in the playpen (or "confinement box, as Older Son calls it) & lie him down & sing him to sleep. He was fighting, but went to sleep in about 5 minutes.
Here's hoping the snow melts by tomorrow AM. Ha!
