(no subject)
Hi,
I thought I'd update my journal. So much stuff lately, where do I start. Been to Germany. Went and visited Dennis in Hamburg - it's a damn fine town. Been at the tennis too, that was good fun.
Other than that, just been working and stuff. Been getting into the music and stuff a fair bit. Went a saw the Brian Jonestown Massacre at the Koko in Camden (where, incidentally, I work). Also saw Wolfmother at the Astoria, that was freakin awesome. Whether you like their Zeppelin / Sabbath stylings or not, they put on a great shirt show. Classic, I actually wrote 'shirt'. That was actually the whole show, the singer just came out and put on this really great shirt and we all cheered....No? I guess you had to be there.
I've also befriended a struggling Hungarian indie musician called Peter, and I've been hanging out with a drummer from Canberra. We recorded some original stuff last week, and it wasnt *entirely* bad.
We've got lots of pics, so I might upload them tonight or something (it takes a while) and I'll link to a select few for those that want the abbreviated tour.
Other than that, life in London is pretty cool. A lot about the city gives me the shits, but a lot about it is pretty cool. I think I'm settling in now, and there's always so much going on, it's really cool.
