It was news to Nicola that Lawrie ever stood up for herself and she sent Lawrie a very sisterly look indeed. - I love it! And george being sympathetic about the seasickness. I might have liked EB books if they were all like this!

The further I get with this the less EB (and AF for that matter) it becomes. Deep sigh. Although it's fun being able to sprinkle adverbs and adjectives around so freely.
