Calm before the storm.

Well God is good... "All the time!"

Tonight was a great message, My pastor had to go out of town for a week so we had some one else preach today and he did a good jorb.

This Morning was about how we should not follow men or rate ourselves to other men but we must follow Jesus. It's like when your driving at night and lets say the lines are God's laws. You are to follow God's laws yourself but we tend to follow the headlights in front of us, and when they stray to the right we go right, when they stray to the left we go left. But if they were to crash into the side of the road since we are following them we crash right into them, and how many people are following our tail lights? If we were to crash will they crash into us too? or will they Follow God's word and do whats right no madder if every one around them is crashing into the side of the road?

2 Cor 10:1-12
v.12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themseves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

And the night message was about going though storms and how God promises that He will get us though the storms. but that dose not mean we will not go though them that just means he will walk us though it. he told about when the disciples went though the storm and they saw Jesus walking on the water and Peter called out and said "Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water." and Jesus said "Come" and Peter got right out of the boat and walk toward Jesus. But he started looking around at the storm and got scared and started to sink, and he cried out "Lord, save me.
v 31. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

And see the thing we miss is that Jesus said "little faith". with just a little faith God allowed Peter to walk on water, and that after Jesus picked him out of the water they both walked back to the boat THEN the storm was over. We will be allowed to go though storms and we get down to our lowest and darkest point, that is when are to cal out to God to help us for we can do nothing without Him, but with God all things are possible.
Mar 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Matt 14:22-36
v 32. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

So I ask to any one who reads this to pray for My Family and I, because this is the big week of the move, and just pray that God gets us though this quickly and that he helps us because if he were to just help a little it will be better then anything we can do.

Well I feel much better now just writing down and reading God's word helps a lot.
