It's Late And It's Heinlein Time
It's late. Ya I know it's the wee hours ;) When do you sleep dumbass? LOL
I was drawing earlier (another idea) keeps me going inside; my ideas and other things. When I laid down I decided to finsh reading Robert Heinlein's "Expanded Universe" for the umteenth time and finish it off once again.
This time though I want to remember that he made some book suggestions here and there through his writing and that one way or another I'd like to get ahold of them. He referenced a book by Mark Twain I ahve never read. He referenced Faust, etc.
That and I wanted to let my friend Gideon have a shot about the depictions Heinlein gave when he visited the Soviet Union in the 60's. It fit in well with "Sputniks" for reference and to provide an additional air to the times. :) Bause if I remmeber right where in 1965-66 in Sputniks. Post Kruschev regime.
Back on Heinlein. Once a few years back I plugged all the numbers and formulas in for "constant boost" populsion into an excel spreadsheet.
So one thing I was playiing around with off and on as of late is pumping it over to XML and an interactive webpage. Maybe screw with JAVA coding but then that would kinda mess with if I wanted to put it on LJ.
The description is over simplification. So put it like this I want to make it so somebody from a webpage can put where they wanna go, how many gravities they are willing to be exposed to, and then they get the answer in travel time either straight there or round trip. I have it working fine in excel, but I wanna make it available on a webpage.
