poems for the Average citizen (hehe inside joke that to many people know)

Nick is shy, and this is why!

I dare not wish for anything
I dare not remember a dream
I dare not hope
I dare not dream
I dare not fell love or hate
I kiss to cry
A peck on the cheek for a single tear
And stop there for fear of the river…

This American life
…Trip to china
New world trips
To china
Find a plastic magnetic strip mine shovel
Green gas driven machine dream
Of all the new ones that could come
Trade your soul for the hole
The goal is to get to china first
And at worst, never the yellow sea

Being in the red has got to me
I hate the view from 2000 feet down
Surrounded by my green driven machine
This scheme…
Hold my hand as I die
I’m my father’s child no drug in the cup hold
No blur on the way to china
But I have a sound system built in DVD
Power string, G.P.S.: Green machine.

Abstract #1

Crack your lips and suck in the essence
Stair at the back of your eyelids
Smile like kids
Making baked goods on a December day
And pray for a taste
Both calm and haste
The blend of lip-gloss dreams and cinnamon…
And cannon burst
The speeding, the slicing, the crash and hurts
