A Beautiful Dream I Once Had

Athena, banish this devil from my heartless soul.
I think I’m about to lose control.
When she’s moaning in my ear,
And I hear every reverberation.
Let me change this to a different station,
The one where she’s shaking with anticipation
And cracking her bones with every sweet sensation…
How we can do it for hours and just bleed into each other
Physically, metaphorically, what have you…
And it’s the best as it can ever be.
We both think,
And it’s the best as it can ever be.

Saltine Crackers And Ginger Ale

I feel sick.
Where did you go?
Why am I throwing up on the hour?
Set your watch by it.
Set your watch by my heaving projectile vomit.
I’m sick so I can’t drink,
So I’ve resorted to drugs.
I should’ve resorted to hugs.
I feel sick.
Where did you go?

Nothing Out Of The Ordinary

It was nothing out of the ordinary.
It’s actually a boring story.
About two souls on the wrong side of town,
For the wrong kinds of sights and the wrong kinds of sounds.
And instead they fell in love,
And it’s been a harrowing journey downhill since.

I had a bad day. I’m in a bad way.
I think I’ll take a bunch of drugs and just get mad laid.
Nah, I think I’ll just get wicked violent
Start blowing up buildings and shit like a tyrant,
Are you listening? This is Brian.

And this is Aiden. and we hardly ever agree.
I’d tell him to shut up but he doesn’t listen to me.
And the other night he had a fight and he lost it, too.
And I was the only mother fucker that he could possibly talk to.
It went like this:

Hey, I haven’t seen Kyle in a while?
How’s he doin’? Is he still’ usin’?
Is he still losin’ his son? Is everything okay?

Dude, you killed him off in like 1998.

Oh yeah.

And that was honestly the worst part.

It was nothing out of the ordinary.
It’s actually a boring story…

-Brian
