I have kept quiet about this because I wanted to find out the outcome first. But now it is time.
I was just offered and I accepted this morning a new position for another homebuilder in Jacksonville. They are a custom, semi-custom home builder wanting to get into more high end production home building. It is for a very good company and they have offered me 5,000 more a year than I make now. They pay 100% medical/dental (I pay 50% now), 401k, and everything else that is typical. They offer quaterly incentive programs for number of starts, the last one was taking the entire office to Key Largo for 4 days. They are a growing company with just a fledgling CAD department which I will get to shape. I could start as early as the Oct. 17th, if living arrangements can be had by then, if not, probably the 24th. There are some personal reasons for the move to Jacksonville as well, which some of you know about, that will work out for me as well.
After moving, I will of course be back down here often, my mom lives down here as well as all of my friends.
