Dedication Rededication
Work is going really well right now. I turned down another job offer even though it paid more. I'm settled in where I am, and we're headed in the right direction, so I decided it's not time to change.
My 24th birthday was Saturday. We got together at my apartment and went out to eat and see a movie. It was a lot of fun. And we watched Josie and the Pussycats. Lol. I haven't watched that movie in forever.
I signed up for summer ice, and I will force myself to skate twice a week and pass my freaking Novice moves by August. And I will pass my Intermediate freestyle by December this year. I am going to kick ass. I am going to get in shape so I can do more than like one lap around the rink without getting winded, lol. I need some sort of goal outside of work to fulfill, and I am going to fill that need with skating. I am re-re-dedicating myself to the sport. This will include stretching daily, which I have fallen out of the habit of doing. Maybe I'll even compete next spring.
I also just got my optical/dental insurance and health insurance cards in the mail yesterday, so I'm making all my appointments for one day. I haven't been to the dentist in soooo long... same with the doctor. I suppose I'm in relatively good shape though.
