Wilson and Bubblewrap
A crack-drabble written for jane_hidell, but I thought you guys might enjoy it too (and I said I would start actually posting my fanfiction on my journal lol).

Wilson walked into his office one morning without being greeted by the occasional odd sight, dangerous prank, or heart-attack-inducing scare, or House. He did however, out of the corner of his eye, catch a glimpse of something odd sticking out of his trash can. Picking up the curious object, he found it to be the odd sight of bubblewrap; a rather large, perfect-condiction, piece of bubblewrap.
He walked back to his desk, bubblewrap in hand, trying to convince himself that he was not excited for such a find like a child (or a certain diagnostician) would be; but because he could find use for it again. Wilson hated wasting office supplies of any kind, a part time job at Staples ™ taught him that (and got him some limited-edition pocket protectors to boot). Wilson looked down at the bubblewrap when suddenly,
*Pop* !
Wilson tried to ignore the surge of euphoria that traveled up his arm and attempted to manifest on his face. He took a seat at his desk and tried to store the wrap away for a future time.
No sooner had he taken a seat did he notice House just now walking into the neighboring department. A course of thoughts began to run across Wilson's mind.
"...Great. Soon House is going to come in here-"
*Pop*
"And find this perfectly good piece of shipping equipment"
*Pop* *Pop*
"And get some kind of weird, cheap thrill out of wasting it-"
*Pop, Pop* *Pop* *Pop, Pop*
"And then litter my office! What a slob."
*Pop* *Pop* *Pop*
Wilson looked down at the bubblewrap again.
"He's just going to pop it himself..." Wilson's eyes began shining with a rather mischivious gaze.

Moments later, House barged into the oncology office with little warning or invitation. He made himself confortable on the couch and looked over at Wilson. His eyebrow arched in confusion.
Wilson looked up, "...What?"
"What's up with the stupid grin?"
"Nothing." Wilson rolled his eyes, purposely ignoring the used piece of bubblewrap in his trash can.
