Day 11 - Gaming system of choice.
Why it's the Nintendo Revolution of course!
*cough* Ok fine, a.k.a. the Wii.
I've been a big Nintendo fangirl ever since I was 3-ish and I've never lost faith in my gaming company of choice. Even as Sony was starting to get big and Nintendo was starting to tank what with the GB micro and Gamecube I still stood by the ever steadfast Nintendo and boy were we ever rewarded.
Plus, the Wii is the first "modern" system I actually got within its starting years. I got the N64 a year before GC came out (-.-) and I held off on the DS for the longest time (I thought a newer one would come out and alas I settled for the DSi).
I thought I was going to hold off on the Wii as well...but then I wandered into BestBuy, played SSBB's Subspace Emissary, (my birthday was coming up,) and before I knew it I was Wii-hunting like the rest of the population looking for the limited stock of Wiis.
Aah the memories...
I also remember that I was so close to getting one because the store had one in stock, but I had no money at the time. At least I was able to win a $100 spa gift certificate thing but then... Oh, bad memories.
In any case, I love my Wii and all the crazy adventures I've gone through with it. I've stayed up all night with it and faced hardships (a.k.a. little kids breaking it) with it and still its quite laggy strong. The fact that I get a *lot* of games for it probably helps as well; if you know what I mean ;)
