In Which Yali got Attacked by a Cockroach and Bravely Fought Back
I just got attacked by a cockroach! Unbelievable!
Before I could see what was coming at me, the thing jumped onto my bed and attacked me. I immediately fought off my foe by closing my eyes, screaming, and flailing my arms uncontrollably. As soon as I was sure it wasn't on me (and managed to untangle myself from the bed sheets), I ran to my mommy in the next room.
She brought in the roach spray. But failed to make it work! (Oh noes!)
Confident that I could make it work from a safe distance, I went in and sprayed half the room. It didn't work as planned, but mama came in for the kill with a shoe and squashed it.
I am now safe and Mom can go back to sleep.
