Happy Name Day to me!

Today is my Name Day, or "Imieniny" in Polish. It's this tradition that most Polish have...in the "old days", most people were named after saints. A Name Day is the birthday of a saint that has your name...you don't have to necessarily be named after him or her, in fact, there are usually a few different ones to choose from. So there are a few St. Agnieszka's around the world - like six or seven - but for me my parents chose the one that was born on an April 20th. So...today is my Name Day! Yay!

It's cool because in Poland, your name day is almost as important as your birthday - to some, it's even more important. I love it because you get presents! XD I got fifty dollars from my parents and my brothers put on this cute little skit for me (the older one played me!) about how cool I am! It was really cheesy - Sebastian-me gave Adam candy or something and everyone around was like, "I wish I had a sister like that!" I didn't know whether to cry or laugh - I loved it. It was so cute...and I got a home-made card. :)

Someone snuck into the office and broke the Banana Phone CD right in half. The entire caf cheered like CRAZY. But then they PUT IT BACK ON. I wanted to scream, omfg it took will, man. WILL.

So right now I'm a little annoyed but fifty dollars richer. I guess it evens out...

It was a good day. =D

EDIT: Okay, so maybe not so good. My parents came home from parent-teacher interviews, and apparently Mrs. Brunati (physics) bitched a lot. But Mrs. Church (geometry) said that I could still hand stuff in to up my mark as long as I don't spread it around that she's letting me, and Mr. Woodrow (philosophy) accidentally threw a pen at my mom's face! I laughed so hard at that. So...never mind. Good day! =D

EDIT 2: OMFG I can't get that song out of my head. God, what if I dream about it tonight? I'll die. I'll die.
