(no subject)
hello there all you fine gangstas,
wellllll, i seem to have tuckered myself out this weekend. yesterday was quite uneventful. i didn't really get one thing done that might be considerred productive. whoops. we DID, however, get indian food. yes yes yes yes yes. it was so extremely, disturbingly tasty. jess and i shared this vegetarian meal. we had the following:
potato soup
fried vegetables
rice
garlic nan bread
vegetables in this crazy orange-ish sauce
spinach and cheese
homemde pistachio almond icecream
all of this = a stomach full of heaven.
at dinner we discussed what animal we would be...i was given the role of otter. do you think that fits? our friend nick is the perfect bushbaby. what animal would YOU be?
poor jessica k. didn't go out at all due to her sickly-ness. but i was just accepting my addiction to dancing to techno music and went out with a few people. it wasn't all that good...we went to a "cool runnings" bar and NO ONE danced. then we went to this bar with a lot of middle-aged germans and a dj that played heavy rock. jose and i pleaded with him to play any 80's/techno music. all we got was "99 red balloons" and "the time of my life" from dirty dancing...i got to use the "nobody puts baby in the corner" line and all was right with the world. i drug my tired little body home at around 3, dialed darling casey for a long while, and snoozed a whole 5 hours before my HUGE 3 HOUR GERMAN TOUR! dorla (the old disney character lady) took jess and i all around the bases in the area and a ton of villages and to the lichtenberg castle. yessss. it was an exhausting tour, i must say. but lovely too. well, time to leave, put on my dozens of layers of clothing, and trudge back home. have an excellent last few days of january.
