1.
So I haven't made a good update in here since before May. Which makes me Mui. It follows that I'm significantly shorter than myself when I'm not Mui, who I am now, since I'm posting lj updates like twice a year now.
2.
Now, to sprout up a foot and give a recap of my summer as me. In June I started summer school and ran into Ryan in the City College library, and I was like, "I didn't know you were here" and he was like, "I didn't know you were here either." I told him I was taking Statistics and Asian-American History(there's not supposed to be a hyphen in Asian-American, or maybe it was one of the nationality specific ones, but that's preferential treatment, so fuck that rule), and Ryan says something like ~well nonasians usually take asian-american studies classes to hookup with asian chicks/dudes. as with all ethnic studies courses.~ I immediately attempted to think of a disproof example to his law of environmental hookupness, and realized the only nonblack girl classmate buddy i could think of from a black studies class ended up hookingup with a black guy.
Contrary to Ryan's statistic, I didn't hookup with anyone in my class. One of my friends from work, Dee, turned out to be in the class, and I doubt she hookedup with anyone either, because she had a fiance at home (with whom she's now married... yay!!!). I just looked at the spot on my desk where I left my report card, and it's missing (which bothers me) but I got a B in that class. Woo-hoo!
Also, I've finally slayed the evil, firespewing, grabfaced beast which was the quantitative reasoning requirement, AKA Statistics. I got a C. Everybody do a happy dance for me. 4th time's the charm! That's a full semester of attempts on the fucking math class, but I'll never buy an overpriced textbook written in numbers again. Go me! Go me! It was my birthday! July 21...
So I'm 22 now. For some odd reason I've been thinking I was 22 since the beginning of the year, but now I actually am. It's an exciting age. I'm making a remix for an Aier Sauft song, "Loose Changes" that I just need to put a finishing touch or two on. I'm trying to make a recreation of an Antagony song as well, but it's more of an epic project, and I'm not giving myself the same kind of leeway. I want to do justice to "Cultivate and Collapse" and since it starts in one place, and ends someplace entirely different, I'll just have to take the entire journey at my own speed. It'd probably help if my Antagony CD wasn't missing too (wonder if i lent it to Kenny?). There've been quite a few inhouse beat remixes between the guys and I, including 2 versions of a song I otomatapeiaed to my friend Angela as "earmehnearmynear, mahnermener" and a remake of Muse's "Sunburn" I did called "Hellburn" which Kenny re-remade with his beautiful signature spin and which I'm gonna do again, now that I have a the upgrade edition of my favorite program with the best piano simulation ever.
I'm gonna be taking 4 literature classes this semester. School's gonna start and I'll just be reading until the end of the fall semester. It's cool, because I get to read some books I've been meaning to read, like Jane Eyre (I read a metafictionesque scifi playful novel called The Eyre Affair that's got me very interested) and The Picture of Dorian Grey which I've already started to give myself a slowreader's handicap. If I disappear soon, you'll all know why.
I'm sleepy now. And I wanna play Devil May Cry 2. So we'll talk later. adios, grabrags!
