[Drabble] He Felt the Sun's... - EXO
Title: He Felt the Sun’s...

Summary: The sun from two completely different perspectives.
Author’s Notes: This drabble is more about symbolism than a solid plot. I had a lot of contradictory feelings these past few weeks, especially about hope, so I wrote a drabble to reflect those feelings. Special thanks to saphirediva for betaing this drabble! I hope you all enjoy :) BTW, I haven’t given up on 365 to GAME XD *bricked*
Rise...Chanyeol heard a voice resonate in the cosmos.
Chanyeol could get into any number of arguments over what that voice was; be it God, some intergalactic being, or something from the depths of his overactive imagination. Either way, Chanyeol could care less about who said it; what mattered the most was that someone had said it. Someone summoned the sun to rise.
Reflected in his eyes, the giant orb of fire made its ascension above the horizon. Chanyeol’s own soul ignited with it, raising the temperature of his drive and motivation. With this sunrise, Chanyeol could feel a new beginning...and a new hope. Chanyeol thanked the distant voice for calling forth the sun and raised his right hand to take hold of the light before him.
Today, with his outstretched hand, Chanyeol felt the sunrise.

Fall...Kris heard echo from the distant corners of his heart.
Kris was never one to linger too long on the words that would resound from his heart. However, today, Kris could not ignore such an utterance because he knew it would come.
In his line of vision, a figure of light was descending beyond the vast skyscrapers. Surprisingly, it did not burn away the structures in its wake. Kris figured he should have been thankful for the time he had with the bright light before it left him behind in the cold. Even so, Kris was bitter.
His sun had fallen, and with his outstretched hand, Kris silently called for the sun to come back, not knowing when (or even if) it would ever return to his side.
