Summary: A collection of drabbles written in response to the "Shuffle Time Challenge." This time is my second go at this challenge :D
Author's Note: It has been a long time coming; I did the challenge again! :D I don't know if I did better this time around or not, BUT I am content with some of the results. I was surprised that I actually went over the required ten (10) drabbles LOL! I ended up writing 13 of them xD (I lost track of time). If you want to read the first collection I did, go here. Trace - Tablo (3:51)
Desert sands rose high enough to touch the sky. No. The galaxy. Or that's what it looked like to Taecyeon through his hazy, blurry eyes. The sun bore its strong heat on the lone tall figure in the vast sea of grain. The sand under Taecyeon's feet even seered between his toes. However, he did not take the time to really focus on something so insignficant. Yes. Something was far more pressing on his mind. The pile of sand was once a foundation of his beautiful hometown. The village of gold and advanced technology. The laughing people. The grand night festivals. They were no more. Not a single thing was left behind. Not even a trace.
Groovy Chocobo - Nobuo Uematsu (4:29)
The little boy's face stretched from the over amount of glee that filled his being. Ever since he was little, he wanted to see this spectacle that all his friends raved about at his school. He wasn't like everyone else. With loads of money to spare with grand entertainment. However, tonight, he was lucky. He was front row and center to see the beautiful show. "Ladies and gentleman," shouted the host of the evening. "I am honored to introduce the main attraction of tonight. Here we go! Maku the Chocobo!" The crowd screamed and roared in anticipation, excited to see the chocobo. Taec probably screamed and roared the loudest however. Before he knew, the winged, walking bird creature paraded into the stadium, head held high. However, his distinction was his dancing feet and groove with the music. Taec could not contain his excitement as Maku danced towards him. Make was dancing towards HIM! Maku bent his head down to offer the young lad a ride. Taec definitely was sane enough to take the offer. Taec rode and danced with Maku all throughout the show. He would never forget this night.
Pirate's Gigue - Kingdom Hearts Original Soundstrack (1:45)
"Arr, maties! I say we got ourselves a hefty bounty tonight. hahahah!" Taec bellowed with michevious content. "Aye, sir! The royals never saw it coming!" Agreed Wooyoung. The two men and other crewmates sank their hands into the new found gold, already dreaming of the booze, girls, and food they would all have fun with thanks to the new riches.
Domino - Brian Joo (3:36)
Taec sat by his windowsill, looking at the moon sitting on the ocean waves. He didn't know what it was about the moon that night, but he swore he saw his old love in the face of the giant globe in the sky. Then again, his old love could have very well been the man in the moon, but the problem was that...he was a "she." Maybe the man in the moon was taunting him, using old fashioned magic to create hallucinations to break Taec's heart even further. He wasn't sure. Either way, her smile was unmistakable. Her eyes were second to none. "It's been two months...yet...I am still in love with you, you know that right?" A shooting star shot across the sky in that moment, falling through the heavens like a domino.
The Other Promise - Yoko Shimomura (Drammatica: The Very Best of Yoko Shimomura) (5:07)
Junsu sat impatiently in the rain in the Seoul Park area. The bench was cold beneath him, but he ignored the sensation as best as possible. Instead, he busied himself staring at his watch every few moments. He growled he noticed that he had been out there for an hour now. "Where is that man? He was supposed to be here a long time ago." Junsu shoved his hand in his wet pocket, pouting in memory of last week.
"Yah! You said that we would go to the movies today!"
"Sorry, Junsu. I'll make it up to you. I promise."
"That's what you said LAST WEEK! How many times are you going to break promises, Taec?"
"...you have my word this time."
Junsu "tched" at the memory. "Yeah right. Then where are you now, Taec?" Junsu's shoulders shook from the fury that was starting to build up within him. "Where are you now...you punk." Tears mixed with rain on Junsu's lap. The next morning, the news reported of a man visiting his sick, long lost sister in the hospital. She was finally awake after three long years of coma. The boy had promised to be by her side when she woke up, so he was with her everyday.
The END...then and... - BoA (7:10)
The End. The words struck Junho in an odd way. That was it? That was the end of the book? He shrugged off the impending questions and placed the book on his "completed readings" shelf in his bedroom. He dragged himself out to the kitchen in hopes of scrouging up a snack. Satisfied with the apple and juice he found, he settled himself next to Taec on the couch. The giant cat-looking human being apparently was enthralled into a movie on the television.
"Yo! What you watching?"
"A romance flick."
"You watch this sappy crap? Psh. You weirdo."
"Nothing weird about it! I just want to know how this thing ends to be honest."
Junho was suddenly reminded of his book that he was reading. "The End." Taec looked at the Junho with a raised eyebrow. "Hyung...what happens after The End?" Taec's eyebrow went even higher, if that was possible. "Well...it's The End. What else could there be?"
"But...there has to be more. Like...the end...then and..."
Taec looked at Junho with a serious look before laughing histerically.
"YAH! Why are you laughing?"
"What do you mean by "then and"? That is such improper English."
"Well my first language isn't English, you jerk!" Junho looked away in a pouting matter.
Taec smiled softly. "Well..if you want to know...there is the end of some things. But then...the next sentence starts." Junho had a thoughtful look over his face.
Casino Night Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2:17)
Blackjack. Slot machines. Wine. Roulette wheels. Pretty waitresses. Oh yes. Taec was living the good life right now. He had betted and betted all day that day. He was truly bringing in the big money. Nothing could stop him. Or that's what he thought. "Come right up, sir! Can you roll a 7? You'll win 7,000 in betting money?" Taec smiled widely. "Of course!"
Guren no Ikari - Fairy Tail OST Vol.1 (1:58)
The girl screamed in fright as the thugs closed in on her. And closer. And closer. And closer...
"Enough."
The thugs in black turned to see who interrupted them. "Who the heck are you?" "Wouldn't you like to know?" The light of the sun shone down in the darkened alley, revealing the stranger's face. "It's--"
Before words escaped the thug's mouth, Taec landed a powerful, flaming punch to the man's jaw. "That's right. I am the Crimson. Fear my flames of hatred!"
Mystic Moon - Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep & 358/2 Days OST (3:39)
The muscular hero heaved as he desparately tried to steady his speeding heart. His shortness of breath did not seem to let up anytime soon much to his dismay. He struggled to lift his head to the mystic moon above. A strange sensation swept over him in that instance. His eyes felt heavy and his vision was darkening. "Dangit...not now." Taec's oponent approached him with cool, calm steps. Too calm. Taec knew better. Death was approaching him. Head on.
"My my. Is this how the Crimson will fall tonight? It's bothersome that my Mystic Moon technique is having such a large impact on you, isn't it?" Taec cursed under his breath. He couldn't die now. He had others to protect.
Stratus - Uyama Hiroto (4:37)
The flowers swayed and flowed in the morning breeze. The trees hummed silent good morning to the plants surrounding the bases of their trunks. The grass dripped droplets of dew on the small patches of bare earth below. Taec leaned back against the tree to observe the smallest of details in the natural art before him. He took a peak at the slumbering friends beside him. Wooyoung snored softly. Chansung snored not so softly. Junho slept with an edge of tension in his face. Junsu looked like he had no care in the world. Something was solemn about Nichkhun's sleeping expression. Taec gave a lopsided-smile at the scene. These were the guys he grew up with. Whether he liked it or not. Either way, he didn't mind how things turned out.
March-A-Long - Yoko Shimomura (2:28)
"Hey, you think they'll catch us with these disguises?" said a worried Chansung. Taec gave a cheeky smile. "No way! These disguises are ingenious if you ask me. Hohohoho~" Wooyoung sweatdropped at Taec's overly confident exclamation. I have a bad feeling about all this. "All right! On the count of 3, we take that shop by storm!" "Okay, hyung." "This is going to be bad." Next thing the candy shop owner knew, he was "raided" by three short little black garbage bags claiming to be robbers.
Sinister Shadows - Yoko Shimomura (2:03)
Taec grabbed Sohee by the hand and dashed across the night streets of Seoul. "Taec, where are you taking me?!" "No, time! They are going to catch us if we slow down. Hurry up!" Sohee didn't argue with him. The natural shadows made way for the shadow creatures chasing the duo hot on their trail. Taec and Sohee made an abrupt turn around a corner.
Lucy no Theme - Fairy Tail Original Soundtrack Vol.1 (1:29)
"Well hiya good travelers!" Taec and the others looked up with confusion etched on their faces. A young woman with blonde hair and a maid's outfit greeted the young men with a big smile on her face. "Welcome to Magno's Tavern! How may I serve you today?" Taec had hearts formed in his eyes. The others facepalmed. "Here we go~"
