Everything moved in slow motion, or it seemed like it.
In Junsu's eyes, he could not figure out why Yunho and Changmin could not move any faster, when the pair were obviously making a mad dash to the pathetic bridge. To Yoochun, the rapid fire of the gunshots seemed to move gracefully through the air like birds in midflight. Jaejoong stared wide-eyed at the scene before him, the actions that took place in mere seconds seemed like forever to the dirtied angel. No sound came to his ears except for the *thump thump thump* of his beating heart. Move faster...move faster, dangit!
Yunho and Changmin reached the bridge, and without hesitation, began to cross. The men in black were right on their heels, but stopped when they got to the edge of the weary bridge. One of them, who appeared to be one of the leaders, shouted, "What are you waiting for?! Go after them!!!" Still, not a single man moved, but they had their guns poised at the fleeing duo. All of them noticed the dangers of the bridge and were not ready to take the chance of challenging those dangers. The man from earlier growled under his breath. "You cowards! FINE! On my order, open fire!"
Yoochun heard the man's command, and yelled "Hyung! Min! Watch out for the guns!"
Yunho was all too aware of the impending danger and realized they had a very slim chance of surviving. Changmin suddenly got dizzy and dropped to his knee. "Dangit! Not now~" The leader quickly bent down to his younger brother's level. "Min! Hey, man, get up!" Changmin groaned from the increasing pain in his head. What going on with me? Why am I like this
"Ready!"
Yunho snapped his head to the direction of their enemy and gasped.
"Aim!"
Jaejoong started running to the bridge. "Yunho!!! Changmin!!!" Junsu and Yoochun were right behind their hyung.
The men pointed their guns at the sitting ducks. There was nowhere for Yunho and Changmin to run.
Yunho suddenly made a decision. He, as a leader, had a duty to his team, and part of that duty is to protect them at all costs...even his life. The leader pushed Changmin behind him and acted as a shield.
"FIRE!"
"NOOOOOO!!!"
Changmin couldn't hear the gunfire. He couldn't hear the screams from Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu. He couldn't hear the bullets piercing flesh. He couldn't hear anything.
He just saw. He saw the pale faces of his hyungs on the other side of the bridge. He saw the men's shooting his leader. He saw his leader's body go limp from the attack. He saw everything. He saw hell.
"HYUNG!" Yunho fell backwards toward to the maknae. Changmin scrambled to catch his leader, but something weird happened.
He fell right through him.
"What?!" This was impossible. His hyung was just standing before him clear as day. He touched him. He heard him. Everything was real to him. But now...he just vanishes just like that. What the heck is going on?!
Suddenly, his head started pounding again. This time, it was more than he could bear. "ARGH! Stop it! Why won't this pain stop?" That was when he noticed that the bridge below him had collapsed and that he was falling into the chasm below. No...NO...NOOO!
As he fell, he heard his name being called over and over again, but he couldn't tell who through the excrutiating pain in his head.
"Changmin..."
Stop it
"Changmin!"
I said to STOP!
