Author's Note: Oh snap, son! Another update?! :O I was feeling generous, ok? xD Enjoy~
Jaejoong was scared (he was hanging on a string for his life...literally).Jaejoong was tired (he's been running for his life all day and worrying for dongsaengs).
Jaejoong was hungry (he did not get much to eat before he did all the running and worrying for the day).
To sum it all up, Jaejoong was not in a good mood.
"YAH! Move faster! I don't know how much longer I can hang here!"
"Aish, hyung! We're doing the best we can. We don't want to wind up in the same position as you."
"Yeah! Otherwise, we are ALL screwed!"
Jaejoong could not ignore the point that was made by his two companions. The bridge was highly unstable, so one wrong move could mean the end of the line for the trio, so careful and precise movement was very important at the moment. Yoochun was slowly reaching down to Jaejoong, and Junsu was supporting his hyung by holding the back of his shirt with one hand and holding the side of the rope bridge with his other hand. Jaejoong stared up at his soulmate, waiting for the right moment to reach up to grab his outstretched hand.
"Hyung, on the count of three, swing over to grab my hand."
"Swing?"
"One."
"But, Yoochun, what if--"
"Two"
Jaejoong moved his body where he could swing a little closer to Yoochun.
"Three."
On three, the dirtied angel swung to the point where his hand touched the dirtied gentleman's hand...and swung away.
"Gah! Try again."
"Ok...he I go."
Jaejoong swung with a little more force this time, not realizing the rope he was swinging on was beginning to unknot...
"One."
Closer...
"Two."
Almost there...
"Three!"
Got it!
SNAP!
"WHOA O_O"
Jaejoong caught Yoochun's hand in the nick of time, right when the rope broke. Now the dirtied angel was no longer swinging on a rope, but on the hand of Park Yoochun, and Yoochun did not expect the sudden weight on his arm, and Junsu did not expect the sudden tug on his arm.
"Ahh!"
"Hyung, are you both okay?"
"Yeah, Junsu, we're fine."
My arm is not fine, thought Yoochun grudingly, but he was glad Jaejoong wasn't swinging on that rope anymore.
"Ok, Junsu, pull us up."
"Right!"
Junsu pulled with all the strength that he could muster to get his hyungs back on the bridge. Yoochun tried to shift his weight backwards to help his dongsaeng out, but it was hard with Jaejoong's weight on his arm.
"Hyung, try to climb up."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah...hurry up. You're a fat kid."
"Shut up! You know Changmin's the fat kid in the group."
Junsu could not help but to feel his heart drop at the mention of his little brother's name. He suddenly felt worried for Yunho and Changmin again...
*********
"Guys, cmon! Is that the best knot that you could do? Hey, you right there. Yes, you! Show this guy how to tie a real knot."
The head figure in black stood watching the scene before him in pure bafflement. Shim Changmin, the supposed sickly little brat from earlier, was now spouting out orders to his subordinates on how to properly tie him up. One black figure would come up to tie the rope around Changmin's hands, and the youngest would reprimand him on a terrible job he did with the knot and then beckon another guy to come and try to tie him up the right way. This snarky, son of a...
"Yah! That knot will not do. See? I got out so easily. You know what? What you guys need is a lesson on how to properly tie people up. Here..."
The maknae took a long piece of rope from one of the guys in black and walked over to the devil who had him in a choke hold from earlier. "Here, hold this end." The guy took the rope hesistantly, not having a clue what was going through Mr. Shim's mind.
"Let's see...ah...that tree right there. Stand next to that tree, goonmen." The black figures blinked for a moment then turned to their leader. The head figure in black blinked as well. "Why the heck are we standing next to a tree?"
Changmin gave a boyish grin. "So I can tie you guys up."
............ *crickets chirp*
"DO I LOOK RETARDED TO YOU, MR. SHIM?!"
"...You want me to answer that question honestly?"
"ENOUGH! You're game ends here now!"
The devil pointed his gun at Changmin. "Drop the rope, let my men tie you up however they want, and don't talk anymore."
Changmin gave a heavy sigh. "Fine, you creep. I just trying to be a helpful guy."
*BANG!* "I said NO TALKING!"
The maknae jumped at the unexpected gunshot fire and dropped the rope. As instructed, he let one of the goons in black tie his hands and feet together without complaint, yet Changmin could not help but smirk on the inside. Perfect.
Once Changmin was tied up, he was roughly pushed to the ground by one of the goons. The maknae gave an "Omph" sound when he hit the ground, not enjoying the sudden impact at all. Crap, that hurt.
The leader in black walked up to the defenseless youngster and pulled him up by the collar of his shirt. The man gave Changmin a devilish smirk. "Well, Mr. Shim, do these accomodations suit your fancy now?"
Changmin smiled. "Yeah. I was always into bondage play, you know? Tried it with your wife the other night."
The smirk instantly disappeared from the devil's face, and he placed the gun to Changmin's head temple.
The maknae gulped. Ok, Changmin, don't get yourself killed. "Hehehe...of course I was just kidding. I don't even know your wife. I'm sure she probably wouldn't go for that kind of stuff anyway--"
"Stop. Talking. NOW!!!"
Changmin kept his trap shut.
"Another word from you, you will suffer the consequences." The leader in black shoved his fun into the young one's head to make his point. "Got it?"
The maknae nodded his head, fearing that if he responded verbally, he would have a bullet in his brain in return.
"Good. Now, as for you, Mr. Jung...WHAT?!"
Mr. Jung was nowhere in sight.
"GOD****IT! It was a trick! Everyone scout the surrounding area NOW!"
The goons immediately flanked out to search for the missing leader of the quintet. Now, the only ones in the clearing were the maknae and the devil leader. Speaking of the devil, he glared down at the young man with pure distaste. "You little punk. You planned all of this, didn't you? You were distracting us to allow your precious hyung to run away, right?"
Changmin remained quiet.
"HA! You think that he is going to far? Like I said, all escape routes will result in death. You just led your hyung to an early demise, Mr. Shim."
"Are you sure about that?"
The leader in black felt himself break out into a cold sweat. No, it can't be...
Suddenly, his world went black.
Changmin smirked at the fallen devil. "Who said anything about my leader running away?"
Sure enough, there was Yunho, standing a few feet from the leader in black.
"Aish, Minnie! I'm surprised that the guy didn't blow your head off by now. You wanted die by saying all that stuff from earlier."
"Hey, good thing you knocked him out now than later, right?" The maknae shook himself loose of the ropes on his hands and undid the ties on his feet. "They are really horrible with tying knots."
Yunho smirked at his youngest brother. "You really are a snarky little punk."
Changmin gave another boyish grin. "I know ^^"
