I just recently switched health insurance and doctors and thought that I needed to make a doctors appointment in the next month or so to re-prescribe to my birth control ( Read more... )

If you've switched insurance, you will at least need to change your prescription to your new pharmacy arrangement. (It sounds like you're on one of the mail-based pharmacies where you get maintenance medications, yeah?) You may or may not need a new prescription. This is something you should call your new insurance company about and find out what their policy is, because different companies may have different rules.

Yeah, it is a mail-based pharmacy. I don't get them at the doctors office, it just gets delivered to me. I guess I'll have to call them and find out if I need to change it or not.
