Z-Pack and continuous usage of Microgestin
Hi everyone!,
I was recently prescribed a Z-Pack to treat strep throat and am also currently taking microgestin f. 1/20 as well. I know I've read that you should use a back up method of bc during the duration of the anti-biotic usage and for 7 days following but does anyone know if that period of time is different if you are taking hormonal bc continuously without placebos? I've left a message with my OB/GYN about this question but I was curious if anyone else had experience in a similar situation.
