Eighth Eden

[There's a strong feeling of deja vu out of all this. Clod has witnessed the end of her world. Hell, not only did she witness it, she was a major factor in its progression. When civil wars broke out worldwide and the experimentations continued, she was the one that ended it all by spreading the same madness that she had been subjected to. Her body was, as a result, split into two and that should have been her end. But no, she was put back together by nothing short of a miracle, and through a greater miracle, she had been beaten with her existence wiped out from the world.

Then came Mayfield. Here, Clod sought to slowly build her perfect world perhaps... taking the visions of that impulsive heroine into consideration. It wasn't long after she came when she experienced the end of the world yet again. This was when she truly felt hopeless regardless of what had happened before. She was without powers, without a method to fight or change destiny. ... And yet again, three days after finally dying, alone in that broken world in the safety of a small hiding place she was able to crawl into, she woke up. Again, in Mayfield.

Silhouette and Mirage cannot coexist with one another, yet they have managed to do so within the little girl's body. They are the two natural attributes that repel each other, so it's nothing short of impossible that they exist inside of her. But from that moment on, Clod herself has become a force that cannot coexist with either her world or perhaps, the universe. She tries hard to maintain her grip on life, but ever since those experiments, it's safe to say that living itself has become a dire sin for someone like her. To live, and certainly she didn't choose to live at first, she became an abomination. All of this have been more or less emphasized to the little girl in the past few months and days.

... After the girl mulls over such thoughts while sitting on her bed, looking at the ground, she decides to get off finally and leave her bedroom. Today was a brand new day. Whether or not an abomination has the right to live nor whatever answer there may be for such a question will not hinder Clod. She will dispose of all the unjust, unfair rules of the universe so that she might live. Her existence is a miracle and from that miracle came an abomination. If she must, then even now, Clod will wear that proudly on her chest and become the new God. Life is certainly a miracle, but preserving it in the most difficult times is an even greater one. People should simply... celebrate the mere fact that they exist from time to time.]

Welcome, survivors of the new world! After those last three days, it's such a relief that here we are, given another new chance to live. To all of my friends, I'd like to host a party that will take place... right now. Everybody loves parties, right? But there's no need to make it extravagent.

Just bring yourselves over and that'll be that. We're just going to celebrate that we're alive and really, people should do this more often. Living here, I'm guessing that... a lot of you know how valuable these chances really are.

[The door of the house is kept open for any and all visitors. Clod sits on the couch in the living room waiting for all of the friends she made here in Mayfield. There's nothing but a bottle of apple juice and a few cups sitting on the table in front of the couch. What Clod wanted was a simple party... to celebrate living. She is a girl who survived two different instances of Armageddon and her existence being wiped clean from the world. She had every reason to treasure the value of life.]
