cinco mentioned last night that a few people would indeed like a way to find out where all the clips in Starships came from because so many of them go by so quickly and/or because some of them are from less popular sources. Since it would be just as hard to ID everything at speed in a caption track, below is a reference to all the clips alongside ( Read more... )

I am so proud of myself for the number of those I identified myself. And incredibly impressed with your stunning 257-clip multifandom vid, not least how you put it together so quickly, as I recall.

Short deadline = less opportunity to overwork and screw it up, methinks! Hooray for your source familiarity and for space and for generally everything because these sources make me feel peaceful with the world.

No wonder you laugh at my "What do you mean, I need shorter clips?" attitude. \o/ You are amazing!

I hadn't watched this vid since it premiered, and now seeing it again on YouTube, I'm really blown away by it, and all the little details I missed while I was dancing. Fantastic work!

Just to say I was prompted to watch this again, and I appreciated the beauty of the timing and clip choice sequencing so much more this time - honestly, the first time was half-filled with 'this is cool but I hate the song', lol. Some of the timing was just perfect, and the whole sequences of, idk, vapour trails and spherical objects and wormhole things were a lot of fun. Still my favourite shot: Wall-E reaching up to 'touch the sky' XD

Looks great even on Youtube, and I am awed at the number of clips you used!

LOL. I am, as they say in countries that aren't mine, so chuffed that you gave it another watch despite your opinion on the song :) and that some of the sequencing stood out to you. This is I think one of the most structured vids I've done to date. And yay WALL-E. It's still neat and yet I guess unsurprising to find that one of the first moments I pictured being in the vid has some of the most resonance for viewers.
