Good movie: Die Wand/The Wall (Austria, 2012). As usual, I review in adjectives: contemplative, frightening, post-apocalyptic, beautiful, quiet, philosophical without being eye-rolling (as opposed to Richard Linklater) or grandiose (as opposed to Terence Malik). Never heard of Die Wand, I need to see whether it's out on DVT when I go back home for Christmas. I really like Malik's films (when I'm in the mood for them), so if this is similar but better it should be a treat.

I'm still enjoying The Vampire Diaries - but then I'm watching it for the fun and OTTness and tongue in cheekness rather than Elena. That character was a douche in the book (I forced myself through the first one, don't ask...) and is only marginally better in the show. At least now she's biting people - let hope she goes over to the dark side for a while, too. But luckily the show has tons of hammy characters, and there's always plot happening! Klaus, Rebekkha & Caroline are always fun to watch. The new werewolf-lady has potential. Ian Somerhalder's eye-brow acting is still the best. Have to agree on the new girl, though. I guess she gets herself killed at some point - at the moment the writers don't really seem to know what to do with her.

I'm not at all interested in TV reality shows, so I don't know about those.
