As previously mentioned, deelaundry and I drove up to NYC this weekend to see Robert Sean Leonard in the play Born Yesterday and do a bit of sightseeing/friend- and family-visiting while we were there.

( Saturday at the MoMA and comics store. )

I am so totally jealous you got to touch him. Asking for hugs is questionable, but I don't think that politely asking for a form of contact that's socially acceptable between strangers is that creepy. Of course, my viewpoint may have something to do with my own LET ME SHAKE YOUR HAND, HOT GUY I READ PORN ABOUT AWESOME BAND MEMBER stuff earlier this month. *shifty eyes* I'm so glad you had an awesome time!

It was very much an awesome time. And I am happy to say I didn't think of Wilson porn while we were waiting by the stage door nor while interacting with him. I think I would have felt dirty about that. :)

Take that photo of him with Nina, subtract a few pounds (I suspect they took the shot when the show was still in previews, and as Dee suspects, I'd guess the NY theater life is keeping him more fit than LA TV) and brush his hair forward, and that's more how he looked in person. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Eeeeee, how cute is he?!? He's aging so well and I love that he was clueless about TV Guide.

That key lime truffle is almost as cute as RSL in plaid and glasses.

Oh the dimple... so cute! [sorry, I know this isn't an intelligent comment, but it's 4am here.]
Now I can wish my dimpled son will look like that as a man. At least the glasses, he has them :-).

*happy review sigh* I just watched a snippet on YouTube and he just looks... relaxed. And like he's having a good time. And I love the way you remember all the really important fangirly parts of the play *g*

Also glad you had that lovely not-hug. That Grey's Anatomy cap is going to haunt him through fandom though...

"Relaxed" is an apt description of it indeed. Sometimes it felt a bit flat - I couldn't tell at first if his character was really in love with Arianda's or if he was using her for something - but yeah, he moved loosely.
