tigertrapped, nightdog_barks, and everyone who likes writing short fiction -- have you heard about this? NPR is starting a feature/contest for stories that can be read aloud in three minutes or less. Heh. I've been listening to it on my commute since it's DC-based and all, and the trip is usually too short to get into a book on CD. Even a short story on CD.

Quite! I was disappointed to find that the contest isn't open to people outside the U.S., though, and that instead of having weekly readings, they're only announcing one winner in July.
