and I'm really enjoying this, to tell the truth XDD
Snape stared into the fire, a glass of brandy in his hands.
His gaze lost into the red flames, flames that made him remember.
Cold fingers wrapped around his heart, as his memories brought him back to that day.
"I'm leaving, Severus."
His lover found him in the greenhouse, where he was collecting plants for his potions.
He rose, hands still muddy, and faced the man that he came to love in the last month.
"And why this sudden decision?"
The other wizard avoided his gaze: "It's not right... I mean... what will everybody say?"
His eyes narrowed, his heart sank in his chest and threatened to stop.
"Indeed, what will they say..." he said in his most glacial tone, and resumed his task, without looking up.
"Severus..."
"I thought you had to go."
"But..."
"Go, will you?"
He heard his steps leave the greenhouse, and Severus congratulated himself for his steady voice, even if he wanted nothing more than run after him and make him stay.
The soft thud of his glass hitting the rug brought Severus back from his memories.
He touched his face, and found it wet.
A knock on his door startled him. Severus dried his face on the sleeve of his jacket, and went to scare the visitor away.
He opened the door with his best glare, and stopped.
Flame-red hair and creamy white skin, something he thought he was never going to see again.
"I'm sorry Severus... I just can't live without you..."
His arms flung forwards and grabbed his lover, feeling like he was coming back to life again.
"My Ron..." he whispered, and closed the door behind them.
