January 8th. I need to take down my Christmas header and default icon, so I switch to "Persuaders" I'm gonna be pimping my very long list of loved shows and pairings this year, so, I'm gonna be switching at least twice a month. I'll be doing a huge Persuaders post when my connections become a little more helpful (because I want to share an episode), and I'll be doing this with all my fandoms, but mostly, with those which are less knew. So, you could expect a massive Eroica post in a near future :)
The one episode that I always equate with Eroica is the one that opens with Bret and Daniel "camping. Daniel is in just a sleeping bag while Bret is in a huge tent complete with electricity.
I can hear Dorian saying Bret's line, "I must say, I do enjoy roughing it."
Yeah. Roughing it. *snicker* Well, they are both Earls...
I have decided that I need to kill of some of the plot bunnies that have overrun my house. This fic kills off 3, possibly 4.
It's also a Fabulousman fic, so mosellegreen is happy, too. ;-D
I have some tweeking to do in the first chapter, as well as the actual "roughing it" part to write. Then the resolution in the final chapter. I'm hoping to get it finished in the next couple of days and then send it off to my beta readers.

That's a really wise decision. The best way to clean up your house of bunny is just writing them *laughs* No, this is not a selfish advice, not at all! *blushes* I'm sure there's a quite large bunch of folks happy any time you wrote something new :) And it is close! What are a couple of days? *bites nails*
Heh. I could have it done tonight if all goes well. It depends on whether the characters cooperate with me. I'm out of practice with my writing, I think. The text isn't flowing along they way it sometimes does. But then, it's still early in the year. I don't usually start writing a lot until Spring.
And I need to figure out the best way to handle the resolution.

Oh, cool! You submit it tonight, your betas work with it tomorrow... So, Wednesday!!! *laughs* I can't say I can relate with writing issues, as I don't write, but, I can imagine that is like everything: you can have a gift with... let's say, dance. But, when you stop for a while, is harder to do it. Some days ago, I was talking with a friend about how difficult is to find a good ending for a story. As a reader, I know how important is, because a bad ending always lets me with a sour taste, even if the rest of the story was great.
Yeah. I hate reading a story that has the ending rushed. I like to drop different points into the plot that only make sense at the ending.
I just hope my betas can get to it right away. I'm sure that mosellegreen will. I always send the Fabulousman fics to her for her approval. He is her baby, after all. ;-D
