hibernation.
i smell like pancakes.
my balcony is currently painted white with snow... and i can see all the buildings with white rooftops from my view. snow is gorgeous.
so far, 2007 has been treating me well. i transferred out a lot of the classes i was in originally, so now i like my schedule. it goes as follows:
business ethics, aristotle's ethics, business calculus, world history and arabic.
in case i never mentioned-- i am double majoring with business (finance/marketing) and international studies. happiness.
i've been cooking a lot lately. i have actually been quite obsessed with cooking... chicken curry, pastas, mini tacos, chicken pot pies... a very good variety. all of it made with lots of delicious vegetables and fresh ingredients. mmm.
lots of baking too. cookies, brownies and cheesecake so far. i'm working on perfecting my ginger cookie recipe. foodnetwork has taken over my life.
the trader joe's right next door opened up. it's seriously heaven on earth.
hm, a new jazz club opened up a block from me. it's a pretty chill place... with a champagne room on the upper level, and the jazz sessions underground. very cool, classy joint.
oh! my brother moved out of the apartment for about six months... so i have the apartment all to myself until next year! it's pretty sweet living alone actually. i thought i would get bored or lonely... but since i have people over all the time anyway, it's REALLY nice. i still might get a roommate, but either way it would be fine.
and lastly, i should be studying abroad in cairo for the fall quarter... :)
