it was a good weekend, a good chelsea-filled weekend. we went to my niece's birthday party today. it was sad because neither of her parents were around, i wonder what it's like.? she's only turning three, but i wonder what pictures will be like... no parents' happy faces will grace her birthday photos; i grew up with tons of home movies and i am very glad for it. i don't know one holiday picture in it that doesn't contain at least one of my parents in it. a third birthday just seems important to me, so i wonder how she'll feel later on in life. chelsea came and we tried catching the smallest dog in the world.
