i write songs in my head and sing 'em on the road. making left turns with the windows down, crouching because i'm late and the defroster can only go so fast, headlights beaming as i fly down an empty highway and the asphalt changes to get smoother under the tires. i sing, i tell stories, write the speeches i'm gonna give at my friends weddings, play out fights in my mind so i don't have to have them. i ride around and i dream up the sic-fi movie- worlds within worlds and the bonds that exist without reason.
