sometimes when bill asks for a kiss on the lips he'll look at me and say "you can do better than that" and i know i can so i stick my head back through the car window and close my eyes and kiss him again. sometimes when alyssa has to go back to the farm on a sunday night she wears my blue dress and holds my face and i kiss her teeth because she's smiling like the sun. sometimes when we come home late we're so happy we wake up all the boys sleeping on the couches by kissing them a million times all over their big beautiful faces. kill me the day i outgrow this. put me in the grave, y'all.
