It's 7:05 a.m. on Friday morning. I just got home from a long night's work. I have a German test in 2 hours. I have 4 beers in the fridge by my bed. I'm going to study and drink my beer.
So I've been working from 9 pm to 7 am Monday through Thursday and 7pm to 7 am on Sunday nights, and then coming home and going to classes, and trying to sleep most of the other time.
It's a REAL pain in the ass, and I will be glad when I'm not doing it anymore.
But when I get off at 7, the sun hasn't yet come up but it's just about to, and the drive home offers some spectacular atmosphere. Somehow it's never cloudy at that time of the day, and the sky always has shades of green I never even knew existed. Sometimes, there are big clouds to the east but not on the horizon, and so there is green below them, and then it's like this massive black dragon swimming across the sky and then it's dark blue above them. It always gives me the willies and makes me wish someone was alongside me to enjoy it with.
Anyways, I'm going to get buzzed and go take my test. It will be interesting.
