my sister sent me another one of the stories she wrote in elementary school. this one is about our two cats, as superheroes.
“I need help,” said Ginseng. “Why, what’s the matter,”
said Jack. “I have so many people counting on me
People think I can do anything but really…” suddenly
the new came back on. “Just about eight o’clock P.M.
and the sky looks lovely tonight. Goodnight in
Chicago,” said Billy Jade on channel four. Jack turned
off the television and Ginseng and Jack went to their
rooms to fall asleep.
Ginseng is a famous superhero, but he is only good at
one thing. If an animal had to be rescued say from a
tree he could. If a human being was trapped in an
underwater railroad he couldn't help him or her. It
was hard for Ginseng to tell Jack he wasn’t perfect.
Jack was Ginseng’s associate, and unlike Ginseng, Jack
thought Ginseng could do anything.
In the morning Ginseng made slightly brown pancakes
and Jack had a nick small bowl of yogurt. “What were
you saying before the news ended?” “I uh… said I would
make pancakes in the morning,” said Ginseng, not
knowing if Jack fell for it. “ Oh, okay,” said Jack.
After breakfast Ginseng had to do some business.
“Hey, Champ. Come in Champ,” said the C48A talking
superhero screed. “What its it?” asked Ginseng. “Get
dressed,” said the screen. With that said Ginseng ran
into his closet and pulled on his fire engine red
superhero suit. Then he put on his bright yellow cape.
Last he put on his pink and purple boots. Red button
red button he thought to himself. He had found the red
button and when he pushed it the roof rose up to
reveal the morning sky. Outside he flew to meet Jimmy
