THE RULEBOOK Welcome to Deadman Wonderland! This is a highly prestigious private prison in which you are very lucky to be incarcerated. You have been http://birdkeepers.livejournal.com/4157.html">assigned a room in one of the three main cell blocks. It is very likely that you have a roommate. We hope you get along! You may move around the prison as you please between the hours of 7AM and 9PM, but after 9 is lights out. You must be back in your cell by then, or you will be disciplined. As you might already know, DW is no ordinary prison. In addition to your everyday lives, you'll also be asked to put on performances for the civilians who come to sightsee. These performances are not mandatory, but participating will earn you prizes, including cast points, the currency of DW, and candy, which you'll need to survive. TABLE OF CONTENTS
PAGE 2: The Golden Rules While Deadman Wonderland is an unusual prison, it is still a prison, and there are several rules to be followed during your stay.
PAGE 3: Locations [ A map is provided. ] PAGE 7: Cast Points Cast Points are the currency used in the prison! With Cast Points, you can buy yourself just about anything: from dildos to lolipops, wedding dresses to fuzzy companions and apartments to a decreased sentence. Browse the shops! You have been given a card upon entrance to the prison. This is what purchases will be made with, just like a bank card. You start off with 10,000 CP, and must earn yourself more. You earn your CP through part time jobs, school (if you're under 18), and performances. A chart for examples of prices:
PAGE 9: DWJournals Deadman Wonderland Journals is a blogging service provided for all inmates; you can access it on the computer lab for ten minutes every day, or nab yourself a communicator with some CP. This is strongly encouraged, as it might help you form closer bonds with your fellow inmates! Further details on how to use the device is provided upon http://birdkeepers.livejournal.com/4890.html">purchase. Using the journals you can tell everyone about your interesting day here in the prison, make friends, and connect with even the most shut-in of all inmates. You can also watch videos of all previous performances in their unrated glory! Additionally, the journal service is monitored by staff. So don't go planning any sort of revolt using it! PAGE 11: The Death Sentence You might have already noticed that http://i.imgur.com/CYKhm.png">collar around your neck. It contains a state-of-the-art GPS tracking system, and can be remotely commanded to inject a sedative into your bloodstream if you become too rowdy. Hopefully that won't be necessary! The collar's main function, however, is the poison that it is continuously pumping into your bodies. It's not enough to notice at first, but after a week the poison will kill you. This is Deadman Wonderland's death penalty. There is an antidote to the poison. It comes in the form of http://i.imgur.com/P0qqR.png">candy, a small hard sweet that you can eat. It's a little bitter, but you'll get used to it in no time. You should have one piece of candy that was given to you upon arrival. You can receive more by participating in performances, and you can purchase candy for 100,000 CP a piece in the gift shop. PAGE 13: Performances Performances or shows are the main focus of the prison, and are the best way to earn CP and thus antidote candy. Performances vary from fashion shows to good old-fashioned battle royales, and they are all set before a live audience! Performances are also recorded for pay-per-view purposes. Details regarding the specific show will be posted a day beforehand; details include what exactly will be going on, how winners will be selected, and the prizes. The main performance will be hosted every Friday starting from 2:30 PM and ending however long it takes. These shows will be dangerous and generally focused around killing your fellow inmates. However, these shows have very good payout, and you might find it worth your while. Smaller shows are hosted every Monday at 3:30 PM; these are less risky than their Friday cousins and thus the payout is less. Additionally, you may skip two performances in a row. The third performance has mandatory attendance, so it's best to just pick some ones that will be easy for you and not skip very many! You might end up forced to do something twice as hard as last week's event. |
