true, i havent been watchin much news the past couple days with saddam in court...u say they want him back in power? but who exactly does, some people on the news or did they say that in court. I'm sure he will hang...I dont want him to die though, lest he be a martyr...i dont know if you remember but he killed thousands of Shi'ites in the south in 1993, experimenting with chemical weapons..I would definitely say he is evil. People always complain about who to vote for, its a 2 party system, if only the country would get out of that mindset, then the 3rd would have a chance.
The war wasnt about OUR rights I believe, especially in Afhganistan, it was about their rights. It has long been said that as the sole superpower in the west (in the world, for now...I think China's going to be the next in a few decades if not sooner) it is America's duty as provider and caretaker to oppressed people's throughout the world. The problem with American Left is that they would much sooner turn their backs and pretend like everything is fine and worry about our own problems, when people throughout the world suffer far greater ones.
