Hello Livejournal, long time no talk.

Life is busy but fantastic.

Work is good. I'm really busy and have been given a ton of responsibility, which I love. And I'm doing a ton of traveling, which I also love, but I'm over the day trips to DC. My boss, who I adored, left in March and I'm finally getting used to working with my new boss. It's not the same but it's not nearly what I was making it out to be in the beginning. Change is hard.

But change is good, and Kev and I are about to make a big one. We're picking up and moving to CO the last week in July. I have lived my whole life thus far in a 35 mile radius and I'm ready to see what life is like outside of 495 (though Lowell technically was outside of 495...). I am completely obsessed with the idea of having a massive yard sale, packing everything in boxes, filling the car to the gills, and driving the nearly 2,000 miles to CO. My job is letting me telecommute (we already have a bunch of telecommuters) so that's one less thing to worry about. And I have family out there so we won't be all on our own. But we don't have an apartment lined up so I'm spending plenty of time stressing about that. I can't wait to be out there, it CO is so beautiful, clean, and healthy.

Speaking of healthy, I am loving training. No races on the books yet for this year, too much going on with work and moving, but Kev and I have spent every Saturday riding our bikes for the past 6-or-so weeks. The distance running hasn't been going as well, it takes a lot to psych myself up for a 10 mile run, but when I'm out there it is worth it. I can't wait to get settled in CO and buy Kayaks. They may come before a kitchen table.
