Bye bye Harry
About an hour ago the family came back from the vet where Harry (our 11yr old goldern retriver) was put to sleep- he had been sick for a long time but it was only this morning that he was so sick that we needed to take him to the vet and see what they could do but there wasn't and the family made a joint decision to say goodbye (we didn't wont him to suffer). So far our other dog Rupert hasn't figured out that he isn't with us anymore but I think that as soon as he tries to find his best friend- at the moment he's sleeping in mybed but when he goes to his own "room" (aka the laundry) he'll go pass where Harry slept or tomorrow when he can't find Harry he'll start to "know" (well as much as a dog can). What will Rupert think?
