I love funny coaches. And by funny I mean coaches who always appear to be on one end of the emotional/sanity spectrum or the other. I always love it when the camera cuts to the coaches yelling something in silent slow motion, and I make up my own lines for them.

I agree with you regarding the Germany/England game. England was just not up to par this year, and if by fluke they managed to get past Germany, they would be eliminated in the semi-finals easily. However, Mexico was doing a damn good job of keeping Argentina at bay, and had that first goal not pissed them off, there's no way that second goal would have happened because they wouldn't have made that stupid error. The third goal was legit and beautiful, so counting the later Mexican goal, the score would be 1-1. It was a game that could have gone either way. Oh well.

At this point, since my team, you know, LOST *grumble grumble* I'm rooting for anyone really. These are really good teams we have left, so I'd be happy with anyone so long that they rightfully deserved that final win. Ghana is awesome, as I love underdogs, though I'm thinking it'll be one of three teams: Argentina, Spain, or Brazil.

LMAO THAT IS BRILLIANT. I'm totally gonna do that from now on. (Though I love it when I can read the lips of the Spanish-speaking coaches and I realize they're actually swearing and saying stuff like, "Motherfucker!" or "Fuck your mother!")

I'm with you on your top 3. My biggest dream is an all-South American and/or Spanish-speaking final 4 (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Spain/Paraguay), culminating in either a Uruguay - Argentina or Brazil - Argentina final. South America has been KILLING it so far, they deserve it. (And if Argentina gets crushed under the weight of their own egos at the hands of either rival, you know, that would be cool too.)
