I just realized... Robert is Jason Schwartzman's brother, right?! They're Sofia Coppola's cousins. They do look alike a lot, but Robert is a bit cuter. ;)
I think it's interesting the opposite ways Robert and Jason took in their careers. Robert started off as an actor first, having a role in Sofia's The Virgin Suicides, but then decided to go with the music. On the other hand, Jason started off as a musician, but then left Phantom Planet to dedicate more to the acting. Haha.
yeah I know. used to like Phantom Planet actually. maybe I'll start listening to them again. me and my friend Loes are gonna rent Robert's movies on Wednesday, btw *lol*
Yes. Lick The Star, The Virgin Suicides and The Princess Diaries. I haven't watched Lick The Star, though. That was Sofia's directorial debut.
The album is called Nighttiming. The name of the artist is Coconut Records, even though it's his solo project. He played all the instruments on the record himself, but I guess he's got some kind of band to back him up when he plays live.
hahahaha, totally awesome! look at the entry I've posted after this one, no one commented on it, but it's 3 videos of Rooney/Robert and one of them is called Nighttiming. He's like, playbacking the song. totally funny.

I heard Jason had a solo album out this year, but he's still a lot more known/successful as an actor, so no one made a big deal out of it. Too bad.
