Thursday Tristero did the release party, which went off splendidly. After that show was over, as we wallowed in our own sweat and filth, we realized we had another show we'd forgotten about on Friday, playing for some girl's sweet sixteen.
So the next night we played a fun and terrible show for a bunch of really loud sixteen-year-olds.
BUT, the real point of all of this is that at the release party we made like $500 in CD sales, and then the birthday thing got us $150 and we sold eight more copies of the album, and Jacob and Moe have both sold some copies on top of that.
Less than a week from the release, we're within a hundred dollars of breaking even. We had been nervous about that when we were deciding how many to order.
